Bio:  Cadet Santos was born in Panama Canal Zone, Panama and has lived in six different states because her father was in the U.S. Army.  She graduated in spring of May 2006 with National Forensics League Honors at Shawnee High School located in Shawnee, Oklahoma with 290 students in her class.  She was a varsity cheerleader, track and cross country runner, cellist, all-star competitive cheerleader and dancer for Tribe Cheer & Dance located in OKC. 

Goals: Kimberly’s long term goals and objectives for the future are to serve in the United States Army as an officer branching in veterinary corps.  She plans to reach her goal by graduating from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor degree in animal science and in poultry science with a concentration of pre-veterinary medicine.  Additionally, she anticipates becoming a commissioned army officer from the University of Arkansas Army ROTC program. Afterwards, she plans to attend graduate school to receive her doctorate degree in veterinary medicine.

 

 

2Thomas R. Bishop, MS III (Junior)
Academic Major:  Political Science Major

Army Awards: Army Service Ribbon

ROTC Awards:  Deans List, ROTC honors, MS II Most Valuable Cadet, Vice Chancellors Award, Platinum and Gold Athlete.

Bio:  Cadet Bishop joined the U.S. Army on his 17th birthday December 20th, 2002.  He received Basic training as a 12 B at Ft. Leonardwood, MO and completed his Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in 2003.  After three years in the Army Reserves, Cadet Bishop entered the University of Arkansas ROTC Program.

Cadet Bishop is a member of SAAB, RESPECT, Men for PEACE, the HIP program, color guard, and the ranger challenge team.

Goals: Thomas anticipates becoming a commissioned army officer from the University of Arkansas Army ROTC program.  His long term goals are to branch Military Intelligence and serve 20 years in the United States Army.  He plans to reach his goal by graduating from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor degree in political science.
