Our Military Science and Leadership Department invites you to enroll in the most exciting and fastest growing courses on campus. Army ROTC at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville (UAF) might be different from what you imagine. Our program focuses on attracting top quality Scholar-Athlete-Leaders (S-A-Ls) from high schools, partnership schools, and on-campus. We develop students to become the future leaders of the United States Army by instilling a Warrior and Physical Fitness Ethos. We have designed our leadership development program to ensure that our cadets are students first - success in academics is essential for success in the Army and in civilian life. Do you want to be in ROTC but want to play sports? Razorback Army ROTC strongly encourages varsity, club and intramural sports participation - we want cadets to stay competitive and will support them and their coaches to ensure that they can train and compete in their sport. are our cornerstones. THE RAZORBACK BRIGADE ARMY ROTC'S MISSON AND VISION
MISSION: Provide the necessary leadership, management,
ethics and personal confidence training to prepare students (cadets) at
the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville for responsibilities as "commissioned
officers" in the active US Army, US army Reserves or the US Army
National Guard following graduation. VISION: 1. Produce lieutenants of character, each with the basics and basis to become great officers in the US Army. 2. Recruit and Retain Scholar-Athlete-Leaders through quality training, admin support, and mentorship. 3. Grow the Military Science Department by encouraging teamwork and showing leadership on campus. 4. Produce lieutenants that are confident and committed to the Army for the duration of their obligation. |
